Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take my insurance?
I am currently in-network with several major insurance plans and am actively expanding my panels to make care more accessible. I partner with platforms like Alma and Headway to streamline the billing process. When you book your initial consultation, we can verify your specific coverage details together. See our insurance page to determine if your plan is listed.
What states do you cover?
As a board-certified PMHNP, I am licensed to provide telehealth services to patients currently located in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, New Mexico, and Washington.
What is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)?
A PMHNP is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with specialized training in mental health. They are board certified to diagnose mental health conditions, provide psychotherapy, and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
How does telehealth work?
Our sessions take place over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. It’s just like an in-person visit, but from the comfort and privacy of your own home. All you need is a stable internet connection and a private space.
Can you help with my medications?
Yes. Medication management is a core part of my practice. During our initial intake, we will review your history, current symptoms, and any previous treatments to determine if medication is a safe and effective tool for your specific goals.
What is your cancellation policy?
To ensure that all patients have timely access to care, I require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. This allows me to offer that time slot to another individual who may be waiting for an appointment.
